New Year

New Year: Psalm 42:1-2a

With the New Year now upon us; what New Years resolutions have you made? For me, it will be to know nothing except Christ and His surpassing riches and grace. My aim; my goal for 2009 is to jump; to dive in deeper than ever before...To jump deeper into this love relationship God has called me to. I want to know Him more and then make Him known in my world. I know with this comes a huge responsibility and it will not be an easy journey. Road blocks will arise and the enemy will poke his ugly head out every now and then to attempt to distract me and discourage me, with the goal to ultimately destroy me. But that is the risk I am willing to take, I will step out on the limb by faith because He said so and dive deep so that I might know Him more; and while stepping out on the limb; I will by faith trust Him to do His work in me and through me to bring ultimate glory to His name. This year my desire through knowing Him more and making Him known will be to reach people nobody else is reaching by doing things nobody else.
